Equiti Group Limited Jordan consists of several companies, authorized, and regulated by some of the major regulatory bodies, including the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). In addition to the well-known MetaTrader 4 platform, Equiti provides clients with its own web-based terminal entitled EQtrader.

The platform looks well-arranged with an easy-to-use interface. The workspace consists of three windows – for instruments, for charts and for trades. The assets available for trading are in the left window, which shows the most important information such as price quotes and daily change.

The search field is above all instruments, which are divided into four asset classes. In addition, you can create your own favorites by selecting the star symbol at the end of the instrument line. Clicking the instrument name opens its chart into the chart window and in the trade window.

You can place an order by clicking on the Sell or Buy button in the Trade window.

The default amount is 0.1 lot. Market orders are executed by clicking the TRADE button. If you select the “Open when rate is” option, you will place a pending order (limit or stop).

Already open positions can be viewed in the Positions module at the bottom right part of the platform where they can be closed or modified. They are shown as lines in the charts. Pending orders are visualized as lines as well.

The chart window is in the central part. All features are accessible from the buttons around the window. Charts can be maximized and occupy the entire workspace. Chart types include candlesticks, HeikinAshi, bars, lines, and area. Time frame starts from one minute and can be up to one month. Zooming can be done by the dedicated buttons or by the mouse scroll wheel. Graphical objects include different types of lines, geometric shapes, text, pattern tools, a tool for measure, and Fibonacci retracement. Nearly 50 technical indicators are available from the Indicators Wizard menu. The Chart properties button allows all chart colors to be customized.

The bar containing account information such as available funds, used funds, account value and current profit/loss is at the top of the terminal.

Overall, the platform is well organized and provides all the necessary trading tools for beginners. The more experienced would probably prefer the MetaTrader 4 platform, which the company also offers.
