Capital.com is a trading name of Capital Com (UK) Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The company has developed its own web-based trading platform and according to announcements on its website, the platform has already been awarded. Capital.com offers more than 2,000 instruments for trading distributed as Currency pairs, Commodities, Indices, Shares, ETFs and Cryptocurrencies.

The default theme is dark, but it can easily be switched to a light one. There are two main windows that show instruments and charts. The horizontal bar containing account information is at the top. Here you can monitor your funds, equity, available funds, profit/loss and margin. There is a menu bar at the left side of the Instruments window. You can switch different asset groups here such as your portfolio, most traded, favorites, top risers and fallers and most volatile ones. Market information is displayed next to it. It includes daily change, sell and buy prices and daily low and high prices.

Clicking the instrument opens it in the chart window and in the trading box. Deals are made through the trading box, which contains two tabs. The Market info tab shows relevant information such as necessary margin, leverage, overnight swaps, real-time spread and market sentiment. A brief description is displayed below this box. Deals are made in the Trade tab. You enter the quantity and click buy or sell button or place an entry order with associated stop and limit orders. Open positions are displayed by clicking the portfolio button. They can be modified here, attaching stop loss or take profit orders.

Charts are displayed in the chart window below the instruments window. The last candle is drawn in real time and reflects any price change. There are five chart types – area, line, bars, candles and Heikin-ashi. Every candle can display the change within 1 minute to 1 week. You can watch bid or ask prices and information of each candle (open, high, low and close prices) is shown at the top of the window. More than 70 technical indicators are presented in groups and drawing tools contain Fibonacci retracement and Gan fan as well. You can trade directly from the chart, as there are buttons for buying and selling. Lastly, the chart window can be maximized.

The main menu bar on the left side of the workspace contains buttons about trades, market data, charts, portfolio, reports and settings.

We think this is a simple and easy to trade platform, especially for beginners. More advanced users would probably prefer the flexibility of a platform like MetaTrader.
